possible, ses proc\u00e9dures de livraison de son SGBD historique, que ce soit l\u2019installation des produits en \u00e9dition standard ou enterprise, ou la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une base de donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, pendant longtemps, on pouvait constater parmi les DBA exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s, l\u2019utilisation privil\u00e9gi\u00e9es de scripts de cr\u00e9ation et configuration d\u2019une base de donn\u00e9es plut\u00f4t que de recourir aux outils bas\u00e9s sur une interface graphique tel que \u00ab\u00a0DataBase Creation Assistant (DBCA)\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Je ne saurai que trop recommander l\u2019usage des outils d\u2019installation et de configuration d\u2019Oracle Database, simples d\u2019utilisation et stables dans leur fonctionnement tels que\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 L\u2019installateur OUI (difficile de toute fa\u00e7on de s\u2019en passer),<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 L\u2019assistant de cr\u00e9ation de base de donn\u00e9es DBCA,<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Et m\u00eame l\u2019assistant de mont\u00e9e de version d&#8217;une base de donn\u00e9es DBUA, sachant qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019un domaine (la mont\u00e9e de version) qui fait encore l\u2019objet de beaucoup de scepticisme sur l\u2019usage d\u2019un tel outil, beaucoup pouvant encore pr\u00e9f\u00e9rer appliquer les scripts document\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Avec la version 18c<\/u><\/strong>, sous Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle propose m\u00eame l\u2019appel de packages RPM pour l\u2019installation de son produit. Cette m\u00e9thode est un grand classique de nombre de SGBD du monde ouvert (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB\u2026) permettant une livraison simple et rapide des produits.<\/p>\n<p>Oracle avait int\u00e9gr\u00e9 l\u2019usage d\u2019un package pour faciliter la pr\u00e9-configuration du syst\u00e8me OEL ou RHEL avant installation de son produit. Cette pr\u00e9-installation est maintenue comme un pr\u00e9alable.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous utilisez Oracle Enterprise Linux et avez souscrit au programme \u00ab\u00a0Unbreakable Linux Network (ULN)\u00a0\u00bb, alors l\u2019installation des pr\u00e9requis et du produit lui-m\u00eame se fait en une seule \u00e9tape, moyennant acc\u00e8s au d\u00e9p\u00f4t YUM d\u2019Oracle\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; line-height: 110%; font-family: 'Courier New'; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: powershell; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\"># yum -y install oracle-database-ee-18c<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sinon, il faut proc\u00e9der au t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement individuel des packages. Par exemple, ma machine virtuelle est sous version Red Hat Enterprise Edition (RHEL) 6.5 qui fait partie des versions support\u00e9es pour Oracle Database 18c (il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable bien s\u00fbr, de retenir OEL\/RHEL 7).<\/p>\n<p>R\u00e9cup\u00e9ration du package\u00a0de pr\u00e9-installation <strong>(votre machine doit \u00eatre autoris\u00e9e \u00e0 acc\u00e9der au r\u00e9seau internet) <\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: powershell; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\"># curl -o oracle-database-preinstall-18c-1.0-1.el6.x86_64.rpm https:\/\/yum.oracle.com\/repo\/OracleLinux\/OL6\/latest\/x86_64\/getPackage\/oracle-database-preinstall-18c-1.0-1.el6.x86_64.rpm<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<pre><\/pre>\n<p>Installation du package des pr\u00e9-requis syst\u00e8me avec YUM :<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: powershell; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\"># yum -y localinstall oracle-database-preinstall-18c-1.0-1.el7.x86_64.rpm<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cette pr\u00e9-installation aura configur\u00e9 tous les pr\u00e9requis \u00e0 l\u2019installation des produits, \u00e0 commencer par la cr\u00e9ation de l\u2019utilisateur linux <strong>\u00ab\u00a0oracle\u00a0\u00bb,<\/strong> mais aussi l\u2019installation des packages syst\u00e8me additionnels n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 Oracle, le param\u00e9trage des limites syst\u00e8me dans \/etc\/sysctl.conf, etc\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Propos\u00e9e depuis longtemps par Oracle, mais sur Linux x86_64 uniquement (RHEL\/OEL), c&#8217;est d\u00e9j\u00e0 en tant que tel un gain de temps consid\u00e9rable pour une configuration propre et simplifi\u00e9e des machines Linux devant h\u00e9berger Oracle Database.<\/p>\n<p>Ensuite nous nous attaquons \u00e0 la v\u00e9ritable nouveaut\u00e9, l\u2019installation de Oracle Database Enterprise Edition par package RPM.<\/p>\n<p>Ne r\u00eavons pas, m\u00eame packag\u00e9 sous format RPM, une distribution d\u2019Oracle Database reste cons\u00e9quente\u00a0avec un fichier de 3,3Gb, la rendant bien \u00e9videmment plus lourde qu\u2019une \u00e9dition communautaire d\u2019un SGBD \u00ab\u00a0open source\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00e9l\u00e9charger l&#8217;\u00e9dition RPM depuis OTN<span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; line-height: 110%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> (<\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px; line-height: 110%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oracle.com\/technetwork\/indexes\/downloads\/index.html\">http:\/\/www.oracle.com\/technetwork\/indexes\/downloads\/index.html<\/a><\/span><u><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; line-height: 110%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">.):<\/span><\/u><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7631\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.capdata.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/otn.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"731\" height=\"660\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>D\u00e9p\u00f4t du RPM dans \/tmp (par exemple) :<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: powershell; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\"># ls -larth \/tmp\/oracle-database-*\r\n-rw-r--r--. 1 root root&amp;nbsp; 19K 21 f\u00e9vr. 11:24 \/tmp\/oracle-database-preinstall-18c-1.0-1.el6.x86_64.rpm\r\n-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 3,4G 21 f\u00e9vr. 12:27 \/tmp\/oracle-database-ee-18c-1.0-1.x86_64.rpm<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Installation de Database 18c toujours en tant que root\u00a0:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: powershell; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\"># yum -y localinstall oracle-database-ee-18c-1.0-1.x86_64.rpm<\/pre>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7635\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.capdata.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/install_oracle_rpm2-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1580\" height=\"783\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.capdata.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/install_oracle_rpm2-1.png 1580w, https:\/\/blog.capdata.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/install_oracle_rpm2-1-300x149.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.capdata.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/install_oracle_rpm2-1-768x381.png 768w, https:\/\/blog.capdata.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/install_oracle_rpm2-1-1024x507.png 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1580px) 100vw, 1580px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est aussi simple que cela!<\/p>\n<p>Le produit Oracle database 18c Enterprise Edition aura \u00e9t\u00e9 automatiquement install\u00e9 par d\u00e9faut dans un dossier ORACLE_HOME = <strong>\/opt\/oracle\/product\/18c\/dbhome_1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cette installation int\u00e8gre un fichier de configuration <strong>\/etc\/init.d\/oracledb_ORCLCDB-18c <\/strong>\u00e0 \u00e9diter avant de cr\u00e9er une premi\u00e8re base de donn\u00e9es. Dans cette configuration initiale, Oracle propose le choix CREATE_AS_CDB \u00e0 true par d\u00e9faut et ainsi de retenir l\u2019option Multitenant pour une instance de base de donn\u00e9es avec une ou plusieurs \u00ab\u00a0pluggable databases\u00a0\u00bb. Ce n\u2019est pas une surprise, Oracle poussant ses clients \u00e0 aller vers ce qui serait un nouveau standard impos\u00e9 de sa base de donn\u00e9es. Il parait notamment impossible de choisir une autre destination ORACLE_BASE \/ ORACLE_HOME que celle par d\u00e9faut dans \u00ab\u00a0\/opt\/oracle\u00a0\u00bb. De m\u00eame, et cela fait partie des restrictions document\u00e9es, on ne peut pas installer une \u00e9dition standard SE2 du produit par ce biais.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Comme pour toute installation, il est recommand\u00e9 ensuite de la mettre \u00e0 jour avec le dernier ensemble de patchs correctifs disponibles (RELEASE UPDATE\u00a0: RU), toujours applicable via \u00ab\u00a0opatch\u00a0\u00bb et pas par RPM. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cette solution se pr\u00e9sente comme une alternative permettant de livrer simplement et rapidement un environnement Database 18c complet, \u00e0 des fins de test par exemple. D\u00e8s que l\u2019on souhaite un minimum de personnalisation avec le choix de l\u2019\u00e9dition et de la destination ORACLE_HOME, alors une installation classique via &#8220;Oracle Universal Installer&#8221;\u00a0 reste privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e. En proc\u00e9dant via OUI en mode silencieux avec un fichier de r\u00e9ponse, cela permet un minimum d\u2019automatisation et d\u2019industrialisation de la livraison des produits Oracle sur environnements Linux (et autre syst\u00e8mes par ailleurs) et convient mieux \u00e0 une installation plus fine et personnalis\u00e9e au maximum pour nos environnements de production.
